Glued parquet

The strips are bonded directly to the slab with a specific adhesive. It feels very solid underfoot, without the slight echo of floating systems, and transmits underfloor heating very well. It requires a well-prepared base.

Floating parquet

It rests on an underlay and is joined together with a click system or glued joints. It is quicker to install, tolerates a more uneven base and is easier to replace. With an insulating underlay it reduces noise.

When to choose each

Glued: in homes with underfloor heating, with solid parquet and when maximum solidity is wanted, as long as the base is well prepared. Floating: when speed, tolerance of an imperfect base and easier repair matter more.
